Jorrit is particularly interested in contacts between the late Mycenaean world and the regions surrounding the Aegean. In the context of the “From Aleph to Alpha” project, he is looking into problems relating to (relative and absolute) chronologies, and the arguments underpinning our current understanding of Late Bronze Age and Early Iron Age chronologies.
