Chloe Gros is a Postdoctoral Researcher at eLaw – Center for Law and Digital Technologies. Her work focuses on responsible AI for critical infrastructure as part of the AI:Liner project as well as on science for robot policy as part of the ERC StG SAFE & Sound project. Her work bridges data science, artificial intelligence, and responsible innovation, with a focus on how algorithmic systems can be designed and governed to support critical infrastructure in socially and environmentally responsible ways.

Before joining eLaw, Chloe completed her PhD at Utrecht University, where she studied AI safety in automated driving, examining how ethical decision-making can be operationalised in intelligent systems. Her academic background combines data science, information systems, and ethics, and her research draws on insights from philosophy, psychology, and neuroscience to inform practical approaches to the governance of emerging technologies.
