Anne-Charlotte Dubbelman studied Chemical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology, and obtained her BSc degree in 2005 with honor. Later in 2005 she started the master program of Medical Engineering, which was a collaboration study between Eindhoven University of Technology and the University of Maastricht. During an internship she investigated the analysis of polymorphisms related to the graft-versus-host disease at the Laboratoire de Biochimie et Biologie Moléculaire of the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire in Nancy, France. Her master graduation project, entitled “Proteomic profiling of cerebrospinal fluid to detect potential biomarkers for multiple sclerosis”, was executed at the department of clinical chemistry the the University Hospital Maastricht. In 2007 she obtained her MSc degree with honor and in 2008 she started her PhD project “Bioanalysis and metabolite identification of anticancer drugs in mass balance studies”, which she finished with a PhD degree in 2012. After working for almost a year in the pharmaceutical industry, she joined in July 2013 the Analytical Biosciences department of Leiden University. Here, she is currently working on the development of bioanalytical methods for simultaneous quantification and qualification of small molecule drugs and metabolites.
