Anna graduated cum laude from Leiden University’s Advanced LL.M. in European and International Human Rights Law in August 2023. With an academic background in Political Science and Law, including the completion of the Diploma in Legal Studies from Oxford University, Anna has worked as a teaching assistant at KU Leuven, where she contributed to research and teaching on the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights, and interned in the Council of the European Union and the T.M.C. Asser Institute.

She is now a PhD candidate researching ‘Domicide’, the deliberate destruction of homes during armed conflict. Her doctoral research brings together her expertise in the European Convention on Human Rights, international human rights law, and international criminal law to explore the potential for the international criminalisation of domicide.
