Centre for Computational Life Sciences (CCLS)

The Centre for Computational Life Sciences aims to stimulate collaboration among researchers at Leiden University (and closely related institutes) who work on computational aspects of life sciences.

Collaborating institutes

The collaborating institutes are the Leiden Institute of Advanced Computer Sciences (LIACS), the Leiden Academic Centre for Drug Research (LACDR), the Leiden Institute for Chemistry (LIC), the Institute of Biology Leiden (IBL), the Mathematical Institute (MI) and the Leiden University Medical Centre (LUMC).

Goals and activities

The centre intends to leverage the synergies arising from this collaboration to initiate joint projects, achieve excellent research outcomes, and attract new funding. Additionally, there will be joint supervision of bachelor's and master's students.

Engaging researchers

The researchers can participate in a series of interactive meetings, including presentations, workshops, announcements, and ample opportunities for questions and interaction.
