Secondary school students often have difficulty with self-regulation and other study skills. In addition, universities noticed a lack of study skills among new students after the COVID pandemic. That is why it is important for both learning in secondary education and in higher education to improve pupils’/students’ study skills. With this in mind, teaching materials have been developed by Leiden University (ICLON). This research project investigates whether and how these interactive lessons about study skills can help mentors achieve their lesson goals, increase the study skills of students and how mentors and students experience the interactive lessons.
