Meet the new student Programme Committee members of Cultural Anthropology

Maria Moser, Mischa de Jong, and Ander Damiano Delliturri are the newly appointed student representatives on the Programme Committee (OLC). This committee provides advice to the Executive Board and the Faculty Board on various educational issues, including the development of Course and Examination Regulations and the evaluation of courses. In addition to the student members, the OLC includes lecturers John Boy (chair), Tim van den Meerendonk, Tessa Minter, and Benjamin Fogarty. Get to know the new student members for 2025-2026, and learn about their motivations for joining the OLC.

Maria

Maria Moser - second-year bachelor

Hi, I am Maria, a second-year bachelor student from Germany. One of the things I deeply appreciate about studying CADS is how kind everyone is to one another. I wish more students realize how much positive impact they can have on their programme through simply speaking up. As a student member of the programme committee, I hope to encourage my fellow anthropologists-in-the-making to actively share what matters to them in the context of their studies and be an approachable contact for any feedback and concerns. I firmly believe that through respectful and constructive communication, a solution can be found for anything – I am always happy to help!

Mischa

Mischa de Jong: third-year bachelor

Hi, I’m Mischa! It’s important to me that student concerns are heard and taken seriously when decisions are being made about our education, and I’m honoured to be the third-year representative this year! I take pride in my ability to mediate between different perspectives and communicate feedback constructively, and I hope to offer you a safe channel to express your concerns about our course and receive support and answers in return. I am happy to take on the responsibility of ensuring that your input reaches the right place and that your voice is a part of the conversation about CADS’ future. Feel free to reach out with any questions, concerns, or simply if you need support!

Ander

Ander Damiano Delliturri - master student

Hi! I'm Ander (he/him), a master's student from Southern Italy.
After completing the CADS bachelor's programme, with a minor in Game Studies, I'm excited to move forward by following the Global Ethnography track, and to facilitate dialogue between students and staff as a representative in the Programme Committee.
As education can influence our well-being both inside and outside the classroom, it’s essential to have our voices and experiences heard, which is why I hope to facilitate a more collaborative and accessible construction of education, for both ourselves and the students to come.
I look forward to learning more about your thoughts and experiences with the courses. Feel free to approach me anytime!

We're still looking for a first-year student to join the Programme Committee!
