Aart Hendriks not ruling out compulsory vaccination

Now the number of people with COVID-19 is increasing and we are faced with stricter measures once again, the question arises whether compulsory vaccination could be allowed.

According to Professor of Health Law Aart Hendriks, such a duty is currently not permitted. However, on Dutch news programme RTL Nieuws, he said that such a duty can be introduced. In fact, if the Dutch House of Representatives and the Senate give their approval, it could even be done in the short term. It is important, though, to consider the group of people who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons. Any compulsory vaccination must also be coordinated with those administering the vaccinations.
