Start of second group in data science for policy course at Ministry of IenW
On Wednesday, 5 September 2018, the second group of employees of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management (IenW) started the managerial track of the Data Science course given by Leiden University (LCDS).
Over the next two months, employees will be trained by various lecturers associated with Leiden University (and one associated with CBS), in fields such as data management, privacy, ethics, agile project management, data entrepreneurship and data informed policymaking.
With the start of the course, IenW and Leiden University continue their successful collaboration, which is aimed at allowing IenW to make better use of data when solving societal issues.
