Join the Leiden Science Run and help refugee students
Do you like running or helping charity? Then join the Leiden Science Run on 29 September! Form a team together with, for example, your old study mates or old roommates for this relay race of 5 km at the Bio Science Park in Leiden and Oegstgeest.
Relay race
You will run this race in relay form: a team consists of 4 persons; every contestant runs 5 km. Every team contributes to charity with the registration fee of 20 euro’s, and by asking family, friends and colleagues to sponsor them.
You will start and finish at the Faculty of Science. The course is 5 km and runs across the Bio Science Park in Leiden and Oegstgeest. Everyone is welcome to participate: students, staff, alumni and everyone else who is interested.
Support refugee students
All the raised money will be donated to the UAF, the Foundation for Refugee Students. The UAF supports and counsels highly skilled refugees. It offers financial support for their study and councels them about study choices and career opportunities.
Leiden University organises this sponsor contest, in collaboration with the University Sports Centre and running club Currimus.
