A new outreach initiative for the communication of artistic research!
ARC (art_research_convergence) is a new outreach initiative of Leiden University for the communication of artistic research. ARC will host open evenings in the cultural hotspots in The Hague, where artist-researchers will have the chance to show work in progress (or finished work in need of feedback) and discuss it with an interested audience, including art enthusiasts, practitioners and academics. This is an open call for artists with or without an institutional affiliation.
The sessions will take place every first Monday of the month, starting in July 2018. The program
of every evening will revolve around a different topic and may include performances, exhibitions,
installations, lectures and other suitable formats. The standard length of all presentations will be
10 minutes, excluding discussion.
ARC is an initiative of the Academy of Creative and Performing Arts (ACPA)—a collaboration
between Leiden University and the University of the Arts The Hague.
