Jasmina Mackic discusses with freshmen the movie ‘Eye in the Sky’
Together with Erwin Muller, Professor of Safety, Security and Law, Jasmina Mačkić discussed on 8 September different judicial and ethical dilemmas and themes that arise in the movie ‘Eye in the Sky’.
The gathering took place at the cinema Trianon in Leiden and was organized as part of the introduction week for freshmen. The movie especially raises the question on the circumstances in which armed drones can be used during counter-terrorism operations. Mačkić discussed this question from an international law and a human rights perspective.
