Excursion Brussels 2 and 3 March
At the beginning of March 2017 the ICCL students visited Brussels for a two-day visit.
Presentations were given at the Permanent Mission of the Netherlands to the EU and at the European Commission. The students listened with interest to first-hand information on the workings of the EU, including the aftermath of the Brexit and its possible consequences. Generous hospitality and a masterclass were provided by law firm Houthoff Buruma. The excursion concluded with a guided tour of the centre of Brussels. All in all a busy but extremely worthwhile programme that also included time for tasting wonderful Belgian beer, waffles and chocolates.
