The Leiden University Centre for Islamic Thought and History aims to promote the study of Arabic and Islamic thought and history in a number of ways, both online and in person.

The Leiden University Centre for Islamic Thought and History aims to promote the study of Arabic and Islamic thought and history, in all its different expressions, periods, and manifestations. By fostering a dialogue among specialists and scholars of Arabic and Islamic thought and history, we wish to stimulate the study of intellectual and learned traditions within Arabic and Islamic thought. The initiatives and projects undertaken here are under the auspices of the Leiden University Centre for Intercultural Philosophy.
