Curious what it’s like to study Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology at Leiden University? During our shadowing days, you’ll join a student to attend a real lecture and get a feel for the atmosphere at the institute.

Programme

You can choose which lecture you would like to attend:

Culture & Globalisation Tuesday 27 October 2026, 11:00–13:00 Lipsius, Leiden
Social Theories Thursday 12 November 2026, 13:00–15:00 Agora, Leiden

A student will meet you, take you to the lecture, and briefly discuss the class with you afterwards. There will also be time to ask questions and explore the institute. This way, you’ll get a good impression of the programme and student life in Leiden.

Can’t make it on these dates? You can request an individual Student for a Day via chat or email with our student ambassador, Roxane.
