Roxane is a second-year bachelor student of Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology. She grew up bilingual, speaking Dutch and German in Kleve, Germany. As the student ambassador, she will share her enthusiasm and knowledge about CADS with prospective students. She will mainly do this during the Open Days, Experience Days, and by arranging and guiding the student for day visits.

Roxane enjoys sunset surfing and longboarding, writing, music, running, cuddling animals and so much more. Above all, meeting people from all over the world through volunteering and listening to their stories, makes her heart beat faster. Traveling and growing up in Germany as a Dutch person has always made her wonder what determines how people act. She wonders how friendship, cooperation, hostility and neverending wars develop. Studying anthropology has changed the way she perceives everyday practices, news and people around her. Through trying to understand human complexity, she hopes that anthropologists can help change the world for the better.
