Digital security concerns us all. The Night of Digital Security ('Nacht van de Digitale Veiligheid' in Dutch) brings together experts from a range of disciplines to explore the latest developments, emerging threats, and potential solutions in the field of cybersecurity. This event presents a valuable opportunity to gain insights from leading professionals in the areas of Law, Criminology, Governance and Organisations, and Technology. With distinguished speakers from academia, government, and industry, the evening offers a comprehensive and thought-provoking perspective on digital security.
The programme below outlines the topics that will be addressed across the four core domains: Law, Criminology, Governance and Organisations, and Technology. Each session will be delivered by knowledgeable speakers who will share their expertise and professional experiences.
This event will be held in Dutch. There are three sessions in English: 'Cybersecurity: a workshop – Online risks for young people and what parents/carers can do' by Robyn Cremin, Hacking activists: who are they? by Marco Romagna and 'They say, I have nothing to hide!' by Dr. Zeki Erkin.
Programme
The evening will open with a plenary lecture by Professor Dr Bibi van den Berg, entitled ‘Welcome to the Wonderful World of Digital Security’ (in Dutch).
