'I’ve always wanted to work with children, but because I did pre-university level at school, I started to study Psychology rather than doing a post academic teaching programme. From next year I’m hoping to combine the two by studying School Psychology. It’s a master’s that focuses on education, but from a psychology perspective. The information session made things a lot clearer. The lecturers used cases to show you what kind of social dilemmas you get involved in as a school psychologist. In this case it was absenteeism.'

'This Master’s Day is a great idea. I’d like to work with children, but Clinical Neuropsychology is also interesting. I’m finding it difficult to make a choice, and I’m hoping today will help me get a better idea of what I want to do.'

'In Portugal all Master’s degrees in Psychology take two years, so I was amazed to hear there are one-year Master’s programmes in the Netherlands. I was always planning to do the two-year Research Master’s here, but now I’m wondering whether a one-year Master’s might be a better option. I came here today to hear the differences between the two. This will help me work out which is best for me.'
