Afro Mix advanced
Thursday from 19:00-20:30h
- Avalon Brown
For the more experienced dancer (in Afromix) or people who easily pick up a new choreography. We will work on the precision of the choreography performance. The aim is to become one with the dance, the music and the emotion and the ability to show this inner connection in your performance. We will focus on sensing each others energy in order to dance as a group in stead of an individual.
Afro Mix is made up out of various dance styles. The most important one being African Dance: big, earthly, intensive and uplifting movements. Moving the upper body separately from the lower body is key. Afrobeats, Dancehall and Dubstep bring joy and energy to the lesson.
Avalon Brown started dancing as a little girl and has been dancing ever since. Her lessons are challenging, energetic and a mix of styles with a lot of African influences.
