Research

Ancient Greek Philosophy, Aristotle’s Natural Philosophy, and the Philosophy of Cosmology

Now I am working on Aristotle’s natural philosophy, especially Aristotle’s theory of cosmology. The work opens up venues of research in different disciplines of philosophy and science, starting from Aristotle’s cosmology; in this way we can show the significance of Aristotle’s philosophy for classical wisdom and the modern world. For instance, we can explore the relationship between natural things and the order of the cosmos from a physical perspective, but we can also discuss the four causes as the causes of the universe from a metaphysical point of view. Undoubtedly, these perspectives are all significant for in-depth understanding of Aristotle’s cosmology.
