Currently, she works as a PhD candidate under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Eric van Dijk, Dr. Lotte van Dillenin, and Dr. Niels van Doesum at the Social, Economic, and Organisational Psychology unit of Leiden University.

Research

Xueting is interested in the role of emotions in judgments and behavioral responses towards moral violations. Compared to previous research focusing on negative emotions, she is specifically curious about how and why gratitude, as a positive emotion, affects people's moral judgments and corresponding behaviors.
