Thomas Scarff is currently instructing on the BSc Political Science: International Relations and Organisations (IRO) programme based in The Hague. Thomas coordinates working groups for the courses 'Introduction to Comparative Politics' and 'Introduction to Political Science'. He also instructs working groups in international relations and has previous experience leading introductory statistics seminars.

In addition to teaching, Thomas holds an appointment as the Remote Teaching Coordinator for the Institute of Political Science. From August 2020 he began a two-year term as an elected Institute Council member representing instructors at the Institute.

Short CV

Thomas holds an MSc in Social Research Methods with a focus in Government from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), an MSc in Political Science from Leiden University and a BA (Hons) in Politics and International Relations from the University of Hull.

Before joining the Institute, Thomas was a Senior Political Consultant to the UK education sector at the Dods Group and had previous professional experience at Universities UK International (UUKi), the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce and for an NGO at the United Nations headquarters in New York.
