Taufiq Adiyanto is a PhD candidate at the Department of Tax Law, Institute of Tax Law and Economics, Leiden University. His doctoral research examines the impact of the Global Minimum Tax on developing countries, with a particular focus on how tax incentive frameworks should be redesigned in the post-BEPS 2.0 era, using Indonesia as a case study. His research is supervised by Prof. Dr. Irma Johanna Mosquera Valderrama, Prof. Dr. Henk Vording, and Dr. Esther Huiskers-Stoop.

Taufiq Adiyanto is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Tax Law, Institute of Tax Law and Economics, at Leiden University. His PhD research focuses on the Global Minimum Tax and its implications for the design and governance of tax incentive frameworks in developing countries, with a particular emphasis on Indonesia as a case study. Beyond his core focus in tax law, his academic work also covers international trade law and energy law. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (S.H.) from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia, and an Advanced LL.M. in International Civil and Commercial Law from Leiden University.

 

Taufiq is an Assistant Professor of Tax Law at the Department of Tax Law, Faculty of Law, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Indonesia. He is affiliated with several research centers at UGM, including the Center for World Trade Studies (PSPD), the Center for Energy Studies (PSE), and the Indonesian Center for Tax Law (ICTL). He is licensed as an advocate by the Indonesian Bar Association (PERADI) and as a tax counsel before the Indonesian Tax Court.
