Somia is an Impact Assessment practitioner and the founder of Narratives, a consulting practice based out of Winnipeg, Canada. Her portfolio includes: negotiations, strategic communications, social programming, capacity building, risk evaluation, and development and execution of engagement programs. Somia's research looks at the psychosocial barriers to reconciliation between Indigenous Peoples and the Settler State of Canada and strategies to overcome them.
