Saskia Postema is a Tutor for the Bachelor Programme Security Studies at the Faculty of Governance and Global Affairs - Institute of Security and Global Affairs and has an MSc in International Relations and Diplomacy. Research interests include digital political communication, international advocacy by non-state/non-traditional actors, public diplomacy, citizen journalism, humanitarian intervention and intra-state conflict. Saskia is involved in two research projects - one focused on celebrity diplomacy, and another project focused on the didactics of Security Studies. She wrote articles for Huffington Post’s Contributor Platform and contributed to Clingendael’s Internationale Spectator online platform, as well as The Correspondent (both in Dutch).
