Renren Gan is a PhD candidate at the department of Economics.
Her PhD research is “Housing Search in a digitalized world”, which explores the applications of big data on online housing search.
Renren completed her master’s degree in Mathematical Sciences in 2023 at Utrecht University. Her master’s thesis proposed a machine learning-based framework to simulate stochastic differential equations with jumps.
Prior to that, she completed a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and applied mathematics at East China University of Science and Technology. Her bachelor’s thesis was related to the applications of optimal transport theory.
