Ramira studies decision-making in Human-Machine Collaboration. Her current work focuses on the moment of 'agreement' in scenarios with incomplete information, where humans and AI establish their 'common ground' through varying levels of communication. This work mostly concerns itself with Theory of Mind: the knowledge of one another's beliefs, intentions and knowledge.
