Research

In my PhD research I examine the Tocharian manuscripts kept in the Saint Petersburg (IOM RAS) collection from the paleographical and codicological points of view.

The aim is to determine Northern Turkestan Brāhmī script and page layout patterns with their geographical and (if possible) temporal correlations. As the manuscripts have been little studied and are largely unidentified, an important goal is a description and where possible identification of the manuscripts in order to introduce them to the scholarly community.
