Natalya’s PhD research project is dealing with LCA of a new technology which converts Carbon emissions from steel industry into building blocks for polyurethane (Carbon4PUR project).

Professional experience
Natalya pursued her M.Sc. Degree in Industrial Ecology within the framework of Erasmus Mundus Programme (MIND). The first year was at Karl-Franzens University of Graz in Austria (2015-2016), and the second year was at Leiden University and TU Delft in the Netherlands (2016-2017). She holds her B.Sc. Degree in Chemical Science and Technology from Nazarbayev University in Kazakhstan. Natalya did an internship at Materials Solutions department at the Netherlands Organization for Applied Scientific Research (TNO) in Eindhoven where she worked on her graduation project on Anticipatory LCA of the novel greenhouse glass coating.
Research topic
Natalya’s PhD research project is dealing with LCA of a new technology which converts Carbon emissions from steel industry into building blocks for polyurethane: Carbon4PUR. The aim of Natalya's research is to perform ex-ante LCA of the Carbon4PUR technology to guide its development towards improved environmental performance levels.
