Ms Mee-Hea Park received her Master Degrees in International and European Law, Dutch Civil Law and Company Law ( cum laude) at Leiden University.
After her graduation, she taught an introductory course in the field of European Law at Leiden University. Her research proposal on the Europeanization of Financial Supervision within the EU and the characteristics of financial supervision in the EU was awarded with a Mosaic research grant from the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO) in 2006. Since then she has been a PhD-candidate and lecturer at the European Law Department and the Moot Court Department of Leiden University.
Mee-Hea participates in advisory projects on European law, such as for instance in projects for the Ministry of Economic Affairs on Services of General Economic Interest and the implementation of European law in the Dutch legal order. In 2011 she was a visiting professor at Sookmyung Women's University teaching European law and financial law in South-Korea.
Her research focuses on the Europeanization of financial supervision and she is interested in conversing with others interested in this topical field of law.
