I am a protein scientist with a keen interest in enzyme evolution and engineering. I obtained a PhD at Leiden Institute of Chemistry, where I studied evolvability and epistasis using BlaC beta-lactamase as a model enzyme. I am currently working on the C5 project (Horizon Europe) in the SvB lab.
