Manon Carrere is a Research Assistant at eLaw – Center for Law and Digital Technologies, where she works on RESOCIAL, an interdisciplinary project that investigates how digital technologies and social media shape human vulnerability and evaluates the adequacy of existing legal protections.

Manon holds a double Bachelor’s degree in Law and Applied Foreign Languages and a Master’s in International and European Law (specialisation in International Criminal Justice) from the University of Lille. She has previously contributed to AI governance work at the Council of Europe’s Committee on Artificial Intelligence, and supported the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights on projects addressing fundamental rights in the digital environment.
Her academic interests focus on the intersection of artificial intelligence and human rights, with particular attention to accountability, transparency, and the protection of vulnerable groups. She maintains a strong interest in cross-disciplinary collaboration and in approaches that connect legal analysis with empirical research to better address the challenges posed by technological change.
