Ksenia Shepetina is a PhD candidate at the Institute of Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology at Leiden University. Prior to joining Leiden University, Ksenia completed a Research Master's degree in Cultural Anthropology at Utrecht University. For her master’s thesis, she conducted an ethnographic study examining how nature-based approaches to flood prevention and biodiversity restoration in the Netherlands reshape responsibilities for environmental change adaptation and trigger novel, unplanned and uncontrolled more-than-human entanglements.
