Jonathan Dudek is a junior researcher at CWTS. He earned a Research Master's degree in Communication Science from the University of Amsterdam in August 2020 and already worked as a research assistant at CWTS during his studies. For his Bachelor's degree in 'Communication, Culture & Management', he attended Zeppelin University in Friedrichshafen, Germany.
At CWTS, Jonathan is working in the research line of 'altmetrics', studying online venues for science communication and new data sources for altmetrics. As part of this, he contributes to contract-based research projects. Jonathan is also involved in researching the online media dissemination of Covid-19 related research, both at CWTS and in collaborations with TU Delft and the Centre for Research on Evaluation, Science and Technology (CREST) at Stellenbosch University, South Africa. In addition to that, he is member of the editorial team of the CWTS-science blog Leiden Madtrics.
