Jiahui started as a PhD researcher at the Industrial Ecology department of CML in November.
Professional experience
Jiahui obtained her BSc in Agricultural Water Conservancy Engineering in 2019 and MSc in Agricultural Water-Soil Engineering in 2022 at Northwest A&F University. She conducted her master thesis project on evaluating the water footprint and carbon footprint of main food items in China at the provincial level. She joined Institute of Environmental Sciences (CML) in November 2022 to pursue her doctoral degree.
Research topic
Jiahui is exploring the environmental and health impacts of antibiotics in food animals. The ultimate goal of the research is to inform policy and management strategies that promote sustainable agricultural practices while safeguarding public health.
