Since January 2026, I have been working as a senior policy advisor on educational quality assurance in the Strategy and Academic Affairs department. In this role, I oversee institution-wide educational quality matters, including the Institutional Audit, assessment policy, and teaching evaluations. I also coordinate the local Quality Assurance Network and represent Leiden University in various national consultative bodies.

Prior to this, I worked as a policy advisor and board secretary at the University of Amsterdam, Leiden University (Honours Academy) and the University of Groningen, at both central and faculty level. The common thread in these positions was education policy and quality assurance.

Alongside these activities, I conducted part-time doctoral research into the learning outcomes of interdisciplinary education. In 2025, I successfully defended my thesis, ‘Interdisciplinary understanding in higher education’ at the University of Groningen.
