Research output
Jan van Staalduinen read law (LLM Private Law, cum laude) and computer science (LLM Bioinformatics, cum laude) at Leiden University. During his studies he did internships at law firms in Amsterdam and New York and, for his Bioinformatics graduation project, as a research intern at the Division of Image Processing (Radiology) of the Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC).
His research focuses on liability for (AI) algorithms, with specific attention to algorithms in the medical sector.
