Jamie Korporaal joined the Department of Labour Law and Social Security as a lecturer in September 2022. As of June 2024, she also started working as a policy officer at Leiden Law School's Department of Education Policy.

Jamie Korporaal graduated cum laude with a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Labour Law from Leiden University. Since 2022, she has been affiliated with the Department of Labour Law and Social Security as a lecturer.

In her current position, Jamie coordinates the bachelor's course 'Labour Law', where she also facilitates lectures and seminars. In addition, she is the secretary of the Joint Programme Committee and, since 2024, a policy officer in the Education Department of the Faculty of Law.

Jamie previously taught in the master's programme in Labour Law and in various bachelor's elective courses, including “Social Law, Labour Law and Reorganisation”. She was also a master's coordinator and was part of various project groups focused on educational innovation.
