Francielle Franco is a PhD candidate in Information Science at the São Paulo State University (UNESP - Brazil). She received her Master's degree in Information Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil) in 2022. Her background is interdisciplinary, with a degree in Social Communication (Advertising) and a specialization in User Experience. At CWTS, she will work under the supervision of Rodrigo Costas, in the Focal Area Engagement & Inclusion.

Her research interests include the attention and online presence of Brazilian researchers on different social web platforms, assessed through altmetric indicators. Her current project involves discovering and developing ways to facilitate the visualization of the online influence of scientific production, with the goal of developing a visualization model that integrates different indicators, providing the broadest possible view of the dissemination and impact of science on society.
