Elina Zorina is a guest researcher at the Institute of Political Science.
Elina Zorina is a guest researcher at the Institute of Political Science. Her work focuses on parliamentary cooperation effects on democratic legitimacy and vote choice. This research is a part of the broader project ‘Who Opposes?’ (Principal Investigator: Dr. Tom Louwerse). It compares the dynamics of government-opposition cooperation in established parliamentary democracies—the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Denmark and Canada.
Elina holds a BA in Liberal Arts and Sciences with a major in International Relations, Political Science and Human Rights from St. Petersburg State University and Bard College, and a two-year MA in Political Science from Central European University. Her academic interests lie in the field of experimental political research, political communication and political psychology.
