David Sander is a PhD candidate at the Department of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure.
David Sander is a PhD candidate at the Department of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure. His PhD research is about fair trial rights of companies in criminal proceedings. His promoters are Jan Crijns and Pinar Ölçer.
David studied Law at Leiden University from mid-2015 to mid-2021. He received his bachelor's degree in mid-2019 and his master's degree in Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure in mid-2021 (both cum laude). During his studies he was, among other things, an editorial member of Ars Aequi and a board member of various legal student associations. He also attended the University of Texas at Austin for a semester.
David has been working in his current position since September 2023. Before that, he was a student assistant, teaching and research assistant and lecturer at the Department of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure.
In addition to conducting PhD research and a number of additional activities, David's activities include providing criminal law bachelor's, master's and post-academic education.
