Short CV

Clifford Tatum is Project Manager of ACUMEN (Academic Careers Understood through Measurement and Norms), an EU/FP7 research project on evaluation of individual researchers. In addition, Clifford is a PhD candidate.  His background includes an MBA in International Business, an MA in Communication, and a BA in Industrial Design. After 10 years as engineer and project manager of large-scale systems integration, he left industry to pursue an academic career.

Research

Currently, he is writing a PhD thesis about the Consequences of Open Access. This research examines the openness dimension of scholarly communication through the lens of infrastructural relations.
