Bernardo Santos is a PhD candidate at the Institute of Political Science. As part of the Adapt! project, his research focuses on the ethics of crisis leadership, examining how crisis leaders can develop and apply an ethical approach to decision-making in times of crisis.

He holds a master’s degree in Political Science from Leiden University and a research master’s in Political Philosophy from the University of Lisbon, where he was awarded a research scholarship and joined the Centre for Philosophy.
