Arthur started as a research assistant at the department of Industrial Ecology in September 2025, and is focussing on pharmaceuticals and other emissions in the global river system.
Professional experience
Arthur Ronner finished his double bachelor applied mathematics and applied physics at TU Delft in 2022. Afterwards, he pursued the master Industrial Ecology at Leiden University and TU Delft, finishing cum laude in 2024. In his master thesis, he constructed a model that computed microplastic flows in rivers on a global scale. After his studies, Arthur worked in a circular economy policy advisory role at geoFluxus.
Research topic
Arthur is employed as a temporary research assistant in the LIFE project, where he is researching the modelling of river networks, and riverine pollutants (like pharmaceuticals and microplastics).
