Anna-Lena Nadler is a post-doctoral researcher in the TransEuroWorkS project.
Prior to joining Leiden University, she received her PhD in Political Science from the University of Geneva in October 2022. In her thesis, Anna-Lena studied political preferences and electoral behavior of immigrants and examined how public policies and economic conditions incentivize political elites to represent immigrant-origin electorates. During her PhD, Anna-Lena taught several classes in Comparative Politics and coordinated and supervised BA thesis in Political Science. She was also a visiting researcher at University of Amsterdam for the 2021-2022 academic year. Anna-Lena completed an MA in Public Policy at Georgetown University and a BA in International Relations with specialization in Political Science and Economics at the University of Geneva, and undertook internships at the EU delegation to Switzerland and the International Organization for Migration.
