Amandine’s research explores how the cognitive processes of public officials, both elected politicians and public managers, shape their engagement with evidence, with the goal of enhancing public service delivery. Adopting an interdisciplinary approach, Amandine integrates theories and methods from political science, psychology, and public administration to address urgent challenges such as sustainability and digitalisation. Through experimental methods, including discrete choice experiments, eye-tracking, and factorial designs, Amandine demonstrates how cognitive limitations among elite decision-makers can impede effective responses to public service failures, offering insights for both research and practice.
