Alyssa Akkerman is a PhD candidate at the Institute of Political Science.
Alyssa Akkerman is a PhD candidate at the Institute of Political Science. She graduated with a BSc in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Erasmus University College, majoring in Economics. She also holds an MSc in International Economics and an MSc in International Public Management and Policy, both from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
Her academic interests lie in the (geo-)politics of realising a global just and green energy transition, focusing on north-south relations, international economics and sustainable development.
