Alexander van Nieuwstadt is lecturer at the Department of Economics.
Alexander obtained his master in Finance at Tilburg University. He continued his studies at the teacher training program in General Economics (Utrecht University) followed by a teacher training program in Business Economics (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam). He started teaching secondary school economics in 2009 and as of 2015, he has been teaching various courses in economics at research universities, mainly in the field of microeconomics, macroeconomics and quantitative methods.
