Aad Rozendal studied fiscal economics at Tilburg University. He obtained his PhD at the same university in 2014 with a dissertation entitled 'The concept of 'interest’ (in Dutch; ‘belang) in Dutch tax legislation'. In 2006 he obtained a postgraduate degree in European Fiscal Studies (EFS) at Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Aad Rozendal worked for more than ten years at the Real Estate Group of PwC in Amsterdam. He currently works as an independent tax advisor under the name BOATHOUSE Tax Consultancy. In addition, he is an external scientific advisor to RSM Netherlands Tax Advisors and as a lecturer and external advisor to FBN Juristen. From 2012 to 2022, he worked as a lecturer at the University of Amsterdam. Aad Rozendal specializes in the tax aspects of real estate, in particular transfer tax and business succession facilities.
