This Scholarship is intended for students from four South African partner universities (Stellenbosch University, University of Cape Town, University of Pretoria and University of the Western Cape) who would like to study at Leiden University for one or two semesters as part of an exchange programme.

Since 2009, the Minerva Scholarship Fund Foundation (MSF) has provided Leiden University students of all disciplines with scholarships for exceptional or prestigious study and research projects abroad.

The NL Scholarship - Outgoing (formerly know as Holland Scholarship - Outgoing) is intended for talented Leiden University Bachelor's and Master's students who want to study, undertake research, or do an internship at an institution or company outside the EEA.

The Swaantje Mondt Fund Scholarship is intended for students who wish to follow the Master of Laws Advanced Studies programme in International Children’s Rights and meet all criteria for admission.
